Countdown to Event
Welcome Message
The integration of communications, electronic
data management, collection and collation of sensor data and imagery, and other decision making tools for the armed forces and national security agencies through seamless networking, is recognized as being essential to bring about synergies and an increase in effectiveness of manpower and material, while reducing overall costs. Network-enabled capabilities allow true unity of command where macro-control is essential for achieving mission success.
India’s huge land mass and diverse internal and external security needs have spawned a large number of defence and security agencies. These provide the country’s citizens a safe, peaceful and prosperous life, as well as a series of mechanisms for the protection of India’s stupendous economic growth. There is a compelling need for all of these organizations to have an affordable and extensively networked environment in order to react to untoward situations with promptitude and economy.
The NEC Exhibition - which will be held in New Delhi, in November 2008 - is an exceptional platform for the meeting of minds of users, buyers, think tanks and solution providers within the realm of network-enabled capability. Visitors, exhibitors and other participants will have multiple fora in which to interact including the main exhibition, where Indian and international vendors will be displaying the latest technology on offer; a leadership summit at which decision-makers and internationally acclaimed speakers will expound on the latest developments in the field and a seminar dedicated to international best practices in NEC/NCW.
The event will provide a unique opportunity for the Indian and international armed forces and security agencies to catapult their networking capabilities with the most appropriate and contemporary know-how and systems. We very much look forward to welcoming you in New Delhi.
